Starhotels has unveiled Teatro Luxury Apartments Firenze – Starhotels Collezione, a flagship project born from the ambitious regeneration of the former Teatro Comunale di Firenze. Originally inaugurated in 1862 as the Politeama Fiorentino and once graced by icons such as Maria Callas and Franco Zeffirelli, the historic theatre has been reimagined as a contemporary residential hospitality destination.
Located on Via Magenta, just steps from the Lungarni along the Arno River and close to Santa Maria Novella, the property officially opened on October 1, 2025. Today, the regenerated complex hosts 156 luxury apartment-style residences across three buildings — Verdi, Rossini, and Puccini — arranged around the newly created Piazza Maria Callas, a civic square reconnecting the site with the neighborhood.

Rather than introducing visually disruptive standard red equipment, the Or Supreme finish offers a warm metallic tone that harmonizes with the hotel’s elegant interior palette.
